Hickstead – All England September Tour (Week 2)
Week two of the September Tour brought another exciting set of results, particularly in the 4-Year-Old division where the young horses continued to show their quality. With two qualifiers leading into the Final in the iconic main ring, the standard of jumping was high throughout.
Breen Equestrian’s Little des Forêts delivered a flawless week, jumping clear every day and sharing the win in the Final alongside three other talented 4-year-olds. It was a brilliant performance that highlighted her consistency and scope on such a big stage.
Limited Touch also impressed, producing a clear round to share 1st place in one of the qualifiers before picking up 4 faults in the second. With three horses qualified, it wasn’t possible to ride them all in the Final, but his form earlier in the week showed great promise.
Elsewhere, the rest of the team produced confident and competitive rounds. The Newcomers and 1.20m classes proved especially testing, with strong courses and very few clears, making every performance and round jumped a valuable step forward in their development.
A week of progression, consistency, and clear signs of exciting futures ahead for these young horses.
